So With Less Sun

So with less sun and colder days in Sweden, I've started 'sun basking' — soaking up any light I can find, coffee, warmth, and a good book.

The Swedish winters are long and dark. The sun barely makes it above the horizon some days, and when it does, you chase every ray of light you can find. It's a different kind of life out here — one that forces you to slow down, appreciate the small things, and find warmth wherever you can.

The dogs don't mind, of course. They love the cold. But for this New Zealander living in Scandinavia, a little sunshine goes a long way.
