To ensure our web applications load instantly—even in environments with poor cell service—we utilize browser Service Workers to cache application assets. This functional caching can be controlled via your device settings, but disabling it may degrade offline functionality.

We load typefaces (Barlow Semi Condensed and Outfit) from Google's font delivery network (fonts.googleapis.com). When a page loads, your browser sends a request to Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information.

We embed YouTube videos using YouTube's standard iframe embed. When you load a page containing an embedded YouTube video, YouTube (Google) may set the following types of cookies: VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC, and PREF. These cookies are set by YouTube, not by Snövind Malamutes. We have no control over their content or duration. Our Explore page uses the Leaflet mapping library (loaded from unpkg.com) with map tiles from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org). When viewing the map, these services receive your IP address. They do not set cookies for basic tile loading.
